How to Use Your Agenda
Step One: Each day make a list of all activities that need to be completed. Include school assignments, class activities, after-school activities, and at home chores.
Step Two: After you make your list (or as you make your list) prioritize each item on your list. Use the following ranking system:
A - Urgent - must be done - use the letter "a"
B - Medium - but not critical - use the letter "b"
C - Low - when you have time - use the letter "c"
Step Three: Mark each item with its status
Item is completed - use a checkmark
Item is delegated to someone else - use a checkmark inside a box
Item is canceled or deleted - place an "x" next to the item
Item moved forward to another day - use an arrow pointing right
Step Four: Parents review the Agenda each night to make sure homework is done and upcoming activities are prepared
Step Five: The Agenda should be taken to every class. It is what students use as a hall pass. Students can also keep their PBS Comet Rules Card in their Agenda.
