This course focuses on learning the standard computer applications of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher and MS FrontPage. Students will learn Adobe Photoshop as well. The class will utilize their knowledge of these skills to create documents, web graphics, and a web site for their very own virtual business.  Infused into the daily curriculum will be the basics of keyboarding while learning to increase typing speed.

Nick Kelsh's Top 5 Tips To Taking Better Shots

  1. Get closer to your subject and fill the frame with your subject's face when taking close-ups.
  2. Turn off the flash and try using alternative light.
  3. Be willing to push the camera's button a lot.
  4. Never place a subject directly in the middle of the frame.
  5. Pay attention to the time of day when you're photographing; think nice, warm and soft light during late afternoons or early evening.
