OCTOBER-NOVEMBER SUMMATION

Every two weeks the students change from reading to writing units.  Every Language Arts class in the building follows this structure.  Our Social Studies partners also cooperate in this scheduling; they usually are opposite of ours, so that they are writing when we are reading, etc.

We finished September's work on October 4th.  The students were given pre and post assessments so that we could share the data with parents at conferences on October 8th and 9th.

AHA MOMENT!  Students are starting to realize that is they don't use their class time wisely, they grades go down.  Hmmmm...this is a surprise?  We will show parents how to access this web site with all of the classroom activities so that kids/parents know how to do homework and keep those grades up where they belong...A's!
