Transportation Policies

The following information is from our transportation department and is important for all bus riders

Infraction point system

The point infraction system is the discipline guideline used by the transportation department for misbehavior at the bus stop, on the bus, and in the loading zone.

Parent /Guardian contact will be made by a transportation employee prior to a student receiving points and the respective discipline. Transportation will use only one infraction level per incident, per day and per parent/guardian contact. The greater point value will be used if there are several infractions committed by the student during any one day. Points are accumulated during the school year as a result of the student’s behavior. The accumulated points determine the consequences given by transportation for each incident.
