The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity. -Dorothy Parker
Language and Literature is a place for students to grow their minds as they turn pages and sneak peeks into other lives. It is a class that deconstructs language, puts a magnifying glass to words in search of the technique, the art, and the meaning that lies buried beneath. It is a place for students to discover themselves, where they come from, who they are, and how they want to be defined. It is a community of readers and writers. It is a class meant to provoke deep thinking, to practice the nuts and bolts of language, and to write in ways that inform, persuade, enlighten, and move the world.
