Did you know? As few as two blistering sunburns before the age of 20 may double the risk of developing melanoma later in life.

The homeless community in Denver suffers greatly with many sunburns all summer long, and YOU can make a difference!  The Extreme core is asking Century students and staff to participate in a Sun Safe drive to benefit the homeless. Please collect your gently used sunglasses, hats, visors, flip-flops, umbrellas, and sunscreen and donate to this great cause.  Warmer weather is right around the corner, so as you break out your summer gear, consider donating items that no longer fit. A collection box is in the office near Mrs. Davis.

Teachers: Please see the email from Mrs. Pugnetti regarding links that you can share with your students for further info about Melanoma.  Remember: There is no such thing as a HEALTHY tan!
