Adopt a High School Senior _ Horizon HS!
Century Middle School community, please consider helping the class of 2021 by Adopting a Horizon High School Senior. Community members do not have to have a Senior student...anyone can adopt a Senior so please share with family and friends. The class of 2021 has endured the pandemic and a true loss of their senior year of high school and this is a simple and fun way to show them we care by sending them a care package!
Please visit the Horizon High School Adopt a Senior Facebook page.
On the FB page there are some samples of various “baskets” for ideas to give the senior you adopt...yet feel free to create your own vision! We are simply trying to spread some joy to our seniors who unfortunately have not had a traditional senior year!
Below is detailed information as well as timelines and directions. Please READ CAREFULLY so you understand the process and how you will be communicated with if you choose to Adopt a Senior.
1. If you are interested in adopting a senior. Please send a message via “Horizon Adopt a Senior” MESSENGER! Once that message is received, one of our parent organizers will identify a senior for you to adopt (via the list we have from the school).
2. We will collect and assign names during the month of February!
3. March 8-13th those of you who have volunteered to Adopt a Senior will be contacted via MESSENGER with your senior’s name and address for delivery.
4. March 28-April 11th-community members who have adopted a senior will be asked to deliver their “gift” within this two week window with contactless delivery. Please feel free to sign with a card or note from your family!
While not all the high school students participated, we have hundreds of students to get adopted.
FIRST STEP.....If you would like to adopt, please send a message to “Horizon High School Adopt a Senior” via FB messenger! We will record your information and you will be contacted the week of March 8-13th with your students name & address.
Thank you in advance for supporting the Horizon High School class of 2021! We are grateful for our community!
