My name is Alicia Ross and I am embarking on my second year of teaching. I am as passionate about teaching as I am about learning, and I am a firm believer that we are never finished learning. Education is a lifelong journey so make the most of it! I went to Adams 12 schools as a child, graduating from Legacy High School in 2010. I majored in History with a concentration in Secondary Education. In winter of 2014, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver, after I student taught at Century Middle School. It is so great to be back with such amazing teachers, staff and administrators!
Contrary to popular belief, teachers do not live at school. When I am not teaching, I am usually outdoors with my boyfriend and/or my family. We enjoy fourwheeling in my Jeep, camping, fishing and enjoying gorgeous Colorado sunsets. I am an avid concert afficionado and I love country music. My pug, Daisy Mae, plays a large role in my life and I often will tell funny stories about her or my little brother, Tanner. I look forward to a rigorous, adventure-filled year ahead!
I can be best reached by email and I typically have a 24 hour turn around time.
