NJHS is sponsoring 6 hat days! Starting today, students may begin purchasing Hat Day Buttons for $5.00 which will allow you to wear your school appropriate hat on our first hat day this FRIDAY, September 20! Yes! You heard right buy a button wear your hat on FRIDAY! Buttons can be purchased from the School Store, Ms. Hepp, Ms. Pearson, Ms Swain. or Friday morning at the flagpole. The best part, these buttons are good ALL year. That means if you buy your button now, you get to wear your hat 6 days!

Do you like to sing and dance? Then show choir may be what you are looking for! We will have an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 10th at 8:00AM in the choir room. Please see Mrs. Espey in B100 if you can't make it to the informational meeting.

Tuesday is Drop Everything and Read Day.  Students will get a buy one get one free coupon if they participate in this whole school reading movement.  What does this mean for you?

EVERYONE (students, teachers, administration, etc...) is going to drop everything and read for 10 minutes during 1st period on Tuesday. An announcement will happen that instructs everyone to drop everything and READ.   Additionally, students who remember to bring their own book and read can also be put into a classroom drawing for additional prizes.

We meet every Tuesday after school from 3:55-4:45 in Mrs. Espey's room - B100. You can pick up a permission slip or find out more from Mrs. Espey or from the counseling office. Week of WOW continues!  Today the classrooms that have sent out the most emails are Mr. Sack, Ms. Shock and Mr. C.B..  Their fundraiser partners Mr. Lockwood, Ms. Cochran and Mr. Jones will all win bluetooth speakers for their classroom.  Please send a student down to collect your prize.

Starting today, we are keeping track of your Temporary IDs.  You get 1 Temporary ID without detention each quarter. You will have lunch detention for every temporary ID after the 1st one!  IDs must be worn everyday!

What's the best club at Century this year?  You guessed it, CREATIVE WRITING CLUB! Our first meeting will be today in the library after school from 4-5.  See you then! 

If you sent your 10 emails AND have your Golden Ticket, please bring them to lunch with you.  We will hand out prizes at each lunch. We will announce the winner of the mini-fridge at the end of the day! Anyone that had emailed 20 or more emails are eligible for the drawing.  We will have two more drawings, so it’s not too late to send out more emails. Don’t forget in order to get into the Day of Awesomeness, you will need to either raise $60 or send out 10 or more emails.

Hello Comets and Welcome Back!  Are you looking for a club to meet some cool kids, spend some time outside, and travel to our beautiful Rocky Mountains?  Then we have a club just for you! Century is one of the few schools in the COUNTRY that has a hiking/ outdoors club and it's called...OASIS.  If you are interested in joining please come to our first informational meeting in Ms. Colston's room, F207, TODAY after school until 4:30. We will talk about our first hike to Rocky Mountain National Park.  We are looking forward to seeing our past OASIS hikers and looking forward to meeting our new ones.  And remember... "You Belong Outside!"

Students, if you have any of the following supplies, please drop them off in the main office:  Copy paper, Kleenex, Clorox Wipes, or Zip Baggies. Your teachers will collect all other supplies.

Hello Comets and Welcome Back!

Are you looking for a club to meet some cool kids, spend some time outside, and travel to our beautiful Rocky Mountains?  Then we have a club just for you! Century is one of the few schools in the COUNTRY that has a hiking/ outdoors club and it's called...OASIS.  If you are interested in joining please come to our first informational meeting in Ms. Colston's room, F207, this Monday after school until 4:30. We will talk about our first hike to Rocky Mountain National Park.  We are looking forward to seeing our past OASIS hikers and looking forward to meeting our new ones! And remember... "You Belong Outside!"
