8th grade project Donations

Some of our 8th grade students are doing donation drives to collect supplies for our community. Please bring any donations to the main office. Thank you!

One of our students in the Eagle Core is conducting a toy drive for children in a domestic violence shelter called Arising Hope for their 8th grade project.  Often children in shelters feel that Santa won’t know where they are since their location is not known for safety reasons.  Toys have to be brand new, no used toys please.  Bring the donations into the front office and place in the box “Toys for Arising Hope”.  The drive will start on December 1st and end on the 15th.  Please bring toys through that time.  Thank you for your compassion.   Imagine waking up everyday wearing the same thing that you wore the day before, for the past 365 days.  This year one of our 8th graders project gives them the opportunity to change that.  To give little girls in Africa, who only have one outfit to wear, something more.  If you have any extra pillowcases in a good clean condition that you would be willing to donate to these little girls in Africa, please bring them to school and drop them off in the labeled bucket in the front office.  They will be turned into simple pillowcase dresses and then sent off to Africa through the program Little Dresses for Africa.  This isn’t only her chance to make a difference, it is yours too.   Do you love shopping for baby clothes and baby items?  Well you can donate new items to the labeled donation box in the office to help with one of our 8th graders project.  Some items you can donate are outfits, size 1 disposable diapers, blankets, hats, mittens, etc.
