Century students go sky high at CSU Drone camp
Outgoing 8th graders from Century Middle School participated in the Colorado State University Drone and Aviation camp over the summer with Mr. Crump-Bertram. The students participated in a week long intensive course studying general aviation and preparing for the FAA Part 107 drone license test in order to receive their Remote Pilot Certificate.
Students got to fly all types of drones as well as fly a Piper Archer airplane. Students stayed in CSU dorms for this week long aviation intensive experience. Thanks to Mr. CB for engaging our students!
