Students performed live music on radio for charity

On December 10th, the Century Middle School Comet Jazz Ensemble performed LIVE on 89.3 KUVO for Colorado Gives Day. Together with two other groups, the Colorado State University Combo 1 and the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts they helped raise close to $38,000 dollars to support KUVO and its mission to bring jazz to colorado and support young performers with the High School/Collegiate series. The Century Comet Jazz Ensemble, directed by Jared Crump-Bertram, had 29 performers which is the largest group to perform in KUVO's recording studio.
